Your library at Emmaus

Everyone is welcome at Emmaus College Libraries. If you are looking for information on the school’s heritage, current events or resources for assignments, the library is the place to go. We strongly encourage literacy, so we have a great range of books, magazines, newspapers, graphic novels and more for you to borrow or read at school in air-conditioned comfort.

Senior School Library

The Emmaus Senior campus Library is dedicated to providing students with the skills and resources to help them complete assessment tasks. Research and referencing skills are taught to students through in-class lessons and assistance is always available from our full time qualified librarian.  Main Street Library is designed for Senior students, providing spaces for study and relaxation.

We offer:

  • Quiet study, reading and relaxation spaces
  • Great collection of the latest fiction and non-fiction, newspapers, magazines and graphic novels
  • Free eBook lending library available from school and home
  • Extensive  collection of quality online databases for all curriculum needs, available from home or school
  • Reader advisory, reference and e-resource training services available by request
  • AV materials for school use (conditions apply)
  • All your assignment needs such as photocopying, printing (fees apply)
  • Archives of Marian/St Stanislaus and Emmaus Colleges

Middle School Library

Just getting used to high school life? Wanting to find some good books? Yaamba Road Library is designed with our Middle School students in mind. The Library strongly supports literacy at Emmaus through the provision of a variety of resources designed for Middle School students. Research and referencing skills are taught to students through in-class lessons and assistance is always available from our full time qualified librarian.

We offer:

  • A wide selection of junior fiction titles to suit all reading levels
  • A great collection of new fiction and non-fiction for general reading, including a wide range of the latest magazines and newspapers
  • Free eBook lending library available from school and home
  • Online databases – get the best, fastest and most accurate info online
  • Board games
  • Photocopying and printing services (fees apply)
  • Archives of Marian/St Stanislaus and Emmaus Colleges
  • AV materials for school use (conditions apply)
  • IT Helpdesk offering face-to-face support for students as part of the 1:1 laptop program.
