Boys Futsal Term 1

Emmaus College completed the Futsal season for boys with three finals last Wednesday. Our Junior A, B and C  teams had all progressed to their respective finals.

This impressive participation at this stage reflects the commitment of the Futsal students who trained at 6.30am and their parents  who ferried  them to  “The Dome” each Tuesday morning.

The Year Eight B side travelled to Heights and lost narrowly in a keenly fought encounter. The year Sevens competing as our C team withstood an early storm from RGS to emerge 4-1 winners.

The A team playing Heights for the third time this season, came away with an impressive  4-3 win to emerge unbeaten all season and the overall Rockhampton and District Futsal Champions for 2023.

Well done to everyone and a special thanks to the coaching teams for their dedication and commitment to nine weeks of early morning training and games.
