Health and Physical Education
At Emmaus College we recognise the significance of physical activity in the lives of individuals. Participation in physical activity promotes health and acknowledges the unique role of physical activity as a medium for learning. Physical activity is central to maintaining health, providing avenues for social interaction, developing self-worth and promoting community involvement.
Emmaus College Health and Physical Education aims to develop active and informed members of society capable of managing interactions between themselves and their social, cultural and physical environments, all in the pursuit of good health. Our goal is to produce physically educated students who are prepared to take their place in society.
