Senior Students make time for Leinster Place visit in final term of schooling

Term four such is a momentous time for our senior students as they come to the end of their secondary schooling experience to move onto life outside of Emmaus.

With graduation preparation, final exams and assessments it’s a wonder senior students can fit anymore into such a short term!

However, fitting a visit to Leinster Place for games and stories with the residents was an absolute must for many of our seniors in the final weeks of their time here with us at Emmaus College.

Mr Caje Goves originally organised the visit for his year 12 tute group during their prayer and reading session.

Mr Goves offered to take other tute groups and as a result, was overwhelmed with the response from other students wanting to visit Leinster Place

Over twenty of our senior students played games in the common room with residents, including; ring toss, scrabble, bowls, connect four and more.

Furthermore, students listened to stories and memories of days gone past from residents, with many laughs being had.

Thank you to Leinster Place for having our senior students visit in their final term of schooling; this meant a great deal to each of them.
